Simply specify a name, term or phrase to automatically search across content types and categories. You can search by issuers, deals, analyst name, full text phrases, CUSIP/ISIN and more.
Conduct an Exact Search for a specific phrase by using double quotation marks "..." (e.g. “Banco de Portugal”)
Conduct a Wild Card search for partial words by using an asterisk '*' as placeholders for the unknown portion of the term (e.g. Amer* Bank)
Fitch Research anticipates your search query, providing common terms such as: name of issuers, market sectors, countries or geographic locations.

2. 'Jump to' Links
Jump to links save time by taking you directly to your desired search results category.
3. Show/Hide Premium content
The Show/Hide Premium Content option allows you to show (or suppress) results for content that you do not have access to. Premium content refers to any ratings, research or surveillance information that is not part of your existing subscription. Contact us to upgrade your subscription or request a free trial.
4. Sorting Search Results
Fitch Research orders search results by relevance. Click on column headers to re-sort your results.
Refine results and browse content using filters located to the left of your search and sector results. Our dynamic menu shows you the filter choices that are applicable to your search criteria. You can filter content by:
1. General Filters
Market Sector
Geography
2. Ratings
Rating Types (e.g. International Ratings, National/Local Ratings, Bank Ratings, Servicer Ratings, etc.)
Rating Ranges & Actions (e.g.: Investment Grade, Speculative Grade, Rating Actions, SMARTView: Under Analysis, Rating Watch or Rating Outlook status)
3. Research
Report Type (e.g. Headlines, Issuer Research, Topical Research & Special Reports, Rating Criteria)
4. Filter by Date
Filter by Date Range including Last 24 hours and Last 7 days, or enter your own dates in the Custom Date Range.

1. Search within Results
The search within feature, located above your search and sector results, can be used to narrow your search criteria, and help you find what you are looking for faster.
2. Refinement List
The current refinements section tracks your search and filter criteria. To broaden your results remove one or more of your filters by clicking on the icon or select the new search option.
Fitch Research orders search results by relevance. Click on column headers to re-sort your results by the desired data.
The Show Extract feature displays a summary view of each research report and associated market sector information. When choosing to show extract, the text matching your search term criteria is highlighted in yellow. To suppress the summary view, select the Hide Extract button.
1. Open search results in a spreadsheet format using the Export to Excel function.
2. Columns will be displayed in Excel as they appear in your web browser, providing a means for more powerful manipulation of your search results.
